Patrick Swayze dies

I was sad to read this morning that Patrick Swayze has died, aged 57.

He was a terrific actor and fought cancer very bravely.

He will be missed by many.

Same here.. Was getting ready for work and was late as usual when I heard it on tv. Had to pause to watch the report. I remember when we were kids some of the coolest movies were "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" and I remember crying when he finally was at peace and able to leave Demi Moore. Swayze and his movies were an indelible part of my childhood. I'll always remember him through my "child" eyes..

I agree BuJ. Dirty dancing and Ghost touched many of us. It was all over the news / tele last evening. Reminds us, life is indeed short -- we ought to make the most of it. May he rest in peace.
